Need some help, Dvd Drive not showing on Desktop.

hello everyone,i have a problem, my dvd drive doesn't seem to be working once am on the desktop. the installation went perfectly and everything was smooth. but when i put in a disc; no icon appears on the desktop.i used the ipc universal pp5-final version, i don't understand why there is no dvd drive, the install worked great. do i have to enable it s...
