Icon's don't change

uninstall usp

ubuntu logo icon

the default logo of the panel is too small (screenshot 1). if i increase the icon size, it will stretch the image of the panel and this make the panel very ugly (screenshot 2). i am using version 2.00.05-5ubuntu1. can anyone suggest a way to fix it, please? attached images screenshot.jpg (149.1 kb) screenshot-1.jpg (150.9 kb) ... Takes over a minute to start

first i thought that usp doesn't work. then i found the details for how to start in a 'window' mode. well, apparently usp works, but it takes about 80-90 seconds to start. i would say that this is unacceptable for such a vital piece of software.i'm running 9.04 64bit and enabled compiz (i don't run it as it interferes too much with redrawing windows and...
