CJ's First Hair Cut!

while our little dude is only 4.5 months old, he's rocking more hair than most adult men.  it's a full, thick head of hair...except for the bald spots he recently made.  cj likes to pet his hair for comfort, but the 3 inches of curls have been snagging around his fingers, and he's accidentally pulled out most of the hair on the back and side of his hea... I Suck at This Parenting Thing Already

first major fail as a new mom...apparently i've been calculating cj's age all wrong.  i've been counting it by weeks, so for example, he'll be 20 weeks old this thursday, so 5 months-old. right?  wrong. i have been corrected by the mommy masses.  months-old is calculated by the day of the month, so cj won't actually be 5 months-old for 2 weeks. i hope... Spring is Finally Springing

after what seemed like the world's longest early spring (the rainy, cold part of spring), it looks like we are finally getting some warm weather.  we've started taking cj out on walks with him positioned face forward in his stroller (as opposed to being in the car seat).  it is if we opened a new world to him!  he's loving every new sensation (wind!) ...
