Hiya GuysI have 40 rackmount machines, all have Ultrasparc IIe 500MHZ CPU's, the ones ive opened so far have 512MB Ram, 20GB HDD, no CD Drives, No VGA PORTS :(So where the hell do I start? Sun UltraSparc Cluster

Hi GuysIve aquired a cluster of sun ultrasparc machines, they have 500mhz ultrasparc II cpu's, 128MB ram each, 20GB HDD each.Now what im wondering is, can ubuntu be used to make the cluster run? Mirrored boot drive and silo.

I've recently built a V240 server using 7.10 with mirrored / and swap partitions. Boot is on it's own partition. I've previously built Intel servers with Linux RAID and could boot fine with Lilo or Grub, but I've had a lot of trouble getting the second drive to boot using Silo.I would like to set boot-device to disk0 disk1 so the box comes up if disk0. ...
