Control Panel -> Edit Your Details -> Instant Messag

contact information for sip accounts and irc are missing from the instant messaging options in the user control panel. if space is needed, then the msn option can be taken out. launchpad / ubuntu development uses irc, so it should be there.sip is an open protocol and should be encouraged over closed protocols like skype.... Instant Message Icons - suggestion

i see icons for instant message using aim in many posts which i think is the standard in most forums. clicking it opens a browser message saying "please note that these functions require that you actually have the aol instant messenger application installed on your computer.
