Hey there,I was dual booting ubuntu and OpenSuse for awhile just to try out some of the different linux distros, and i pretty much hated suse :( It was slow, laggy, crashed a lot and generally a pain in the butt. Why so many dependencies?

I'm getting used to the Yast Software Manager but I don't like being forced to install so many extraneous packages with the packages I want. For example, if I try to install Seahorse (key manager) I am forced to install flash-player, bogofilter, audio codecs, and Openoffice templates as well.
