this week

making a few more toys to accompany this monkey into my shop before christmas. good stuff found on pinterest, no.1

my dad was visiting from out of town last week, so it was a fine occassion for a special cake. i discovered the recipe for this one on pinterest (where else?) - almond & yoghurt cake with blood orange curd. it was the curd that lured me in. i expected it to be a glorious, glossy pink-red concoction - but, of course, when mixed with the egg yolks that bea... arnold for mirabel
